Fabio Salgado Program Manager Corning Automotive Interiors
Abstract: Consumers are looking for a smartphone-like experience with seamless touch responsiveness and intuitive interaction, designers want harmonious interior designs, and automotive makers want cost-effective solutions. Corning will discuss how innovations in thin, tough, and 3D cold formable cover glass and new surface treatments can meet these emerging automotive trends. Bio: Fabio B. Salgado leads Corning Incorporated’s Automotive Glass business for Auto Interiors, including the development, manufacturing, marketing, and sales of Auto Interior glass products. In addition to setting the strategic direction of the Auto Interiors business, Fabio focuses on optimizing the economics of innovation in the Auto Interiors space. Fabio joined Corning in 2007 and has held a variety of roles spanning strategy, commercial, and finance functions for Corning. Prior to joining Corning, Fabio worked for Bank of America Merrill Lynch where he held a number of investment banking roles.
