Dr Seth Coe-Sullivan Vice President of Technology Lumint
BIO: Mr. Seth Coe-Sullivan, Ph.D. has been Vice President of Technology at Luminit, LLC since January 25, 2016. Mr. Coe-Sullivan's role at Luminit includes intellectual property strategy, technical marketing and business development. He co-founded Qd Vision, Inc. in 2004 and serves as its Chief Technology Officer. He is a founder and QD Vision’s technological visionary. Mr. Coe-Sullivan research has focused on incorporating quantum dots into hybrid organic/inorganic LEDs. He spent a year as a Staff Engineer at the Boston based research company Foster-Miller, Inc., in the Emerging Technology division of the Materials Technology Group. He has over 10 papers and patents pending in the fields of organic light emitting devices, quantum dot LEDs and nanotechnology fabrication. Mr. Coe-Sullivan serves as a Director of QD Vision, Inc. He is an expert in quantum dot materials and devices for solid state lighting and displays, Dr. Coe-Sullivan holds numerous patents relating to quantum dots (QDs) and organic light emitting devices (OLEDs) and is a frequent invited speaker on the subject. He was awarded Technology Review Magazine's TR35 Award in 2006, naming him one of the top 35 innovators under the age of 35. In 2007, Business Week named him one of the top young entrepreneurs under the age of 30. He is honored to sit on Brown University's Engineering Advisory Council. He graduated in the class of 1999 from Brown University with an Sc.B. in electrical engineering. Mr. Coe-Sullivan received his Electrical Engineering Ph.D. from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in January 2005.
