Abstract: TPK Corporate Strategy: Touch Module & Beyond As the leader in Touch Module Business , TPK has firm commitment to strengthen Touch module Business as Core in the future as well. Recent 3D Lamination including foldable & Flexible Display is giving more opportunity to TPK than before. We will talk about New Corporate strategy which is Printed Electronics Technology including Silver Nano Wire as another Engine to drive TPK business beyond Touch.
BIO: In 1984, Ryosuke Kuwada started his career at Du Pont Electronics Material Department. In 17 years Du Pont career, he had various experience in Engineering, Sales, Marketing, Product Management, mainly in Display, Electronics components & Semiconductor materials. In 2001, Kuwada joined E Ink Corporation in Cambridge, MA, USA which was spiun out of a MIT Media Lab (e-Paper technology company). In 8 years at E Ink, as Global Sales & Marketing Vice President, he contributed for SONY e-Book & Amazon Kindle launch. After leaving E Ink in 2009, he joined Toppan corporation in Tokyo as GM of Corporate Planning Division as well as at Innova Dynamics in San Francisco (Nano Material VB) as Global Sales & Marketing Vice President. From 2016, Kuwada has operated his own Investment & Consulting firm, having clients/partners in Japan, US, Europe as well as Asia. At TPK corporation (the world largest Touch panel company in Taiwan), he closely works with senior management including the Vice-Chairman (strategic planning) and the CTO (Technology) as Corporate Advisor. He recieved his Applied Chemistry degree at Keio University and studied at Keio Business School (EMBA).
