Title: Display Influence on VR-OLED for VR Abstract: New applications of VR have increased rapidly since hardware and software have grown significantly over the past few years. Therefore, the VR market has been expending accordingly. In order to grow the VR market even faster, it is necessary to provide more realistic virtual experience and to minimize VIMS (Visually Induced Motion Sickness). In this talk, we will cover trends in the VR market and focus on display influence on VR along with OLED’s strong point for VR.
Bio: Won-Jun Choe earned a Ph. D., Master, and Bachelor degrees from E.E. of Seoul National University, E.E. of Seoul National University, and E.E. of Pusan National University, respectively. He has been working for Samsung Display since 2012. He has 23-year of experience on display electronics. His major is about circuitry for display driving, anddisplay interface technologies. Recently, he has researched OLED driving technology, especially on uniformity, life time, and high BW interface.
