Director of US Sales
Gerry McGinley joined DSCC as Director of Sales US in July 2018. In this role, he is focused on managing an ever-growing client base for DSCC and is committed to providing clients with a great customer experience. Gerry has had the pleasure of working in the display and research industry for over 30 years.
Gerry started his sales career with Panasonic Industrial Company in 1988. He was responsible for OEM monitors, CRTs and other display components and spent extended periods in Japan on business travel. He then joined Richardson Electronics and helped drive their pioneering efforts to become a global leader in healthcare display distribution and integration.
Gerry moved from display hardware to research when he hired on with NPD DisplaySearch in 2007 as a Director, Business Development. He was responsible for a wide ranging client base in segments such as: Financial Services, Consumer Electronics, IT/Mobile, Display Technology and Materials. At DisplaySearch, Gerry developed innovative client engagement strategies and established a reputation of exceeding customer expectations. Gerry joined IHS via the DisplaySearch acquisition and was instrumental in guiding clients through the transition process.
In 2016, Gerry moved to Forrester Research and was responsible for managing premier Atlanta-based clients. He is a long-time road cyclist, enjoys spending time NC mountains with family and is a craft beer enthusiast. Gerry lives in metro-Atlanta with wife Tina and three children.
