BOE Paper Reveals Reliability, Thickness and Brightness/Color Uniformity Advantages of the Water Drop Hinge Structure

BOE gave an interesting talk at SID on the use of water drop hinges. The talk expanded beyond the idea that water drop shaped hinges produce a less visible seam. BOE showed that it also produced better brightness and color uniformity, a thinner form factor as well as reliability advantages.
