FLEx Lighting is changing the way we see and experience light. FLEx’s technologies have created the world’s thinnest lightguide system, which is now enabling next generation reflective displays and flexible LCDs to reach their full potential. FLEx’s lightguide is currently embedded into over tens of thousands of mobile devices worldwide, serving as a high-performance front light for reflective LCDs. FLEx’s front light panel delivers diffuse, uniform lighting using only a single LED to maintain low power consumption while enhancing display viewability in both high bright and low light environments.

With 19 sales offices across North America and Asia, manufacturing capabilities in the US and Asia, and over 29 granted patents worldwide, FLEx is enabling our displays and luminaires to deliver light in a more natural way.

In this talk, Mr. Casper will discuss the company’s current display products used in industrial/medical devices; FLEx’s developments in consumer/educational tablet displays; and future applications in automotive, flexible LCDs, and general illumination.
