Displays Redefine In-Vehicle Customer Engagement
Technology is enabling larger, higher resolution displays in vehicles and the ability to interface with higher resolution sources and richer content. The need to render in-dash and head-up display experiences that are mission critical for safety applications as well as engaging for content consumption is fueling the drive to redefine the in-cabin experience. Combined with new user interfaces, driver monitoring systems, haptics, and touch screens means that displays are increasing important for building brand connections for car makers. This presentation will look at the underlying enabling technologies and applications fueling the shift toward wider, taller, richer in-vehicle displays and the implications for the industry.
