Ulrich Hofmann

Ulrich Hofmann studied Physics in Marburg and received the PhD in electrical engineering from the university of Kiel. In 1994 he joined the Fraunhofer Institute for Silicon Technology ISIT. There he was head of the MEMS mirror team from 1995 until 2019. In 2018 he co-founded OQmented in order to commercialize the MEMS mirror technology. OQmented exclusively licensed Fraunhofer ISIT’s MEMS mirror technology and has become a supplier of MEMS based laser projection displays and 3D depth cameras for AR Smart Glasses.
